Team Member of the Month!!!!
So at the Hotel, you get 'Starpoints' for every comment card or guest letter that mentions your name. Ever since I started there last year, I have had at least two every month. So they awarded me the Team Member of the Month for the second time this year!!! =) I'm so proud. Starpoints are vouchers, and you get £10 for each comment card, £50 for Colleague of the Month. Hooray! Christmas shopping, here I come!!
It has taught me about the importance of writing comment cards for hotels and other businesses, and yeah, it does make a difference! Good customer service should be rewarded!

Cool, congratulations! You should just have your friends in Watford come visit the Hilton a lot and drop off postive comment cards for you. Or send in letters.
Xoxo and I just got back from having Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house in Cambridge. She puked in the cab on the way there but managed to keep the pumpkin pie and whipped cream down on the way back, amazingly. I think it was because the first driver took a back way, which meant lots of stops and starts...
Hey, that's great! Carol and I like leaving positive comments for people at various places, too.
I also love it when people use your name as well. It's so friendly. Is it really common in the States? It's not done that often here.
